Avionics show opening keynote delivers top names

Avionics & Defence Electronics Europe, on 16-17 March 2011 at the MOC Event Centre in Munich, Germany, has announced the line up of the Opening Keynote Session at 9am on Wednesday 16th March.

Addressing the theme ‘SES and Next-Gen Technology Challenges and Solutions' across the avionics and defence electronics industry, the opening keynote session will lay the foundation for the on-going discussions during the two-day conference.

Opening keynote session line-up:

• Capt. Manfred Mueller, head of flight safety, Lufthansa Airlines
• Vincent De Vroey, general manager technical & operations, Association of European Airlines
• Brigadier General Reinhard Wolski, director, Army Aviation and Commander, German Army Aviation

The keynote presentation from Lufthansa's Capt Mueller will discuss the innovative avionics systems being deployed today in Lufthansa's aircraft and what Lufthansa is exploring for the cockpits of tomorrow, whilst Vincent De Vroey, from the AEA, will deliver an overview of the future of avionics, its impact on the airline industry and how the industry could be impacting on future innovations.
