The initial launch window for Virgin Orbit’s LauncherOne small satellite delivery system in the UK has been announced today (January 9) with additional back-up dates continuing into mid and late January.
Virgin Orbit has been issued the final remaining licenses ahead of planned UK launch from Spaceport Cornwall, the first ever orbital mission from a UK site.
The first satellite launch from the UK will take place this summer, the government has announced, as Prometheus-2 takes off from Spaceport Cornwall in Newquay.
