Virgin Orbit certified to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D

PRI (Performance Review Institute) Registrar has announced that Virgin Orbit has been certified to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D.

The certification covers the design, development, production, test and launch of orbital launch vehicles for Virgin Orbit (Central Function). This includes the following Virgin Orbit facilities:

• E Conant Street, Long Beach, California, USA: Design and manufacture of small satellite launch rockets and pylon hardware
• McGowen Street, Long Beach, California, USA: Payload integration and testing
• Sabovich Street, Mojave, California, USA: Testing and Launch Operation.
