COMPOSITE-EXPO Moscow show dates announced

The 10th edition of COMPOSITE-EXPO exhibition organised by Mir-Expo Exhibition Company and The Union of Composites Manufacturers will be held on February 28–March 2, 2017 at Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow, Russia.

COMPOSITE-EXPO is a leading international specialised event in Russia where the full range of manufacturers of raw materials, equipment and finished products of composites are on offer.

The 2016 edition’s display area was increased by more than 5% and attracted 7% more visitors in comparison with the previous event. 123 exhibitors from 19 countries took part in the 2016 show, including: Institute of New Carbon Materials (INUMiT), Carbon Studio (Composites Solutions), Akzo Nobel, Airbus Group, Airtech Europe, Bang & Bonsomer, Jushi Group, Mikrosam AD, Larchfield, BauTex, Melytec, P-D Tatneft-Alabuga Fiberglass, Evonik Industries, Elektroizolit JSC, Dugalak, OCV Steklovolokno JSC, Union of Composites Manufacturers, INTREY Chemical products, Fives Group, STEVIK SAS, Tatneft-Presscompozit, Lavesan, SvetlogorskKhimvolokno, SKM Polymer, GRM Systems, Kroenert, Toray International Europe, BMP Technology, Lavesan, Shandong Fiberglass Group among others.

The following companies exhibited at the event for the first time: Neva Technology, Smolensk Composites Cluster, Hoffmann Professional Instruments, Central Research Institute for Special Machinery (Federal Research and Production Centre), Attika, Breton, Volgogradpromproekt, Gambit JSC, Sealing Materials Plant, Coatema Coating Machinery, Interdeck, Krylov State Research Centre, Kurganhimmash among others.

In 2017, the organiser will hold its ‘Current State and Prospects of Development of Production and Use of Composite Materials in Russia’, 10th Practical Research Conference, in the conference hall of pavilion 8. In 2016 the conference attracted over 500 specialists, with discussions centring on the matters regarding composite materials manufacturing and use, the main problems of Russian composite market development and the ways of their possible solutions.
