Cube Precision gains AS9100 accreditation

West Midlands-based Cube Precision Engineering has recently gained AS9100 accreditation for its complete press/mould tool, CNC machining and composite tool manufacturing capabilities.

Established only last year, the company has grown its precision engineering business from 6 to 32 people as a result of winning lucrative MoD contracts and aerospace work.

“I'm delighted to achieve AS9100 accreditation,” stated Cube Precision's managing director, Neil Clifton. “AS9100 is a huge differentiator in winning further valuable aerospace business and after winning significant projects on A350 and Boeing 737, I'm convinced it will help our company win further orders in going forward.”

Cube Precision specialises in machining large components and tools, utilising lifting capacities up to 35tonnes and machining components up to 5m long. Combined with pressing capacities up to 1,000tonnes, Cube Precision says it is an assured choice of subcontractor for prime and tier one aerospace companies.
