F/List takes over ACC Columbia production site in Germany

F/List takes over ACC Columbia production site in Germany

Provider of business jets and private jets, F/List, has taken over ACC Columbia’s upholstery plant in Erfurt, Germany boosting its aftermarket network.

ACC Columbia’s upholstery operations were absorbed by F/List Germany on 1 February 2021. With its site at Berlin Schönefeld Airport, F/List Germany offers customers across Europe and the Middle East exterior and interior cleaning services as well as a comprehensive refurbishment service for private and business aircraft.

ACC Columbia is a maintenance company for private jets and business jets. It is based in Hannover, with additional sites in Cologne and Erfurt. While the Hannover base takes care of maintaining Bombardier, Embraer, Falcon, Gulfstream and Cessna jets, the Erfurt site is mainly responsible for delivering seat upholstery services.

F/List’s acquisition of the upholstery plant in Erfurt has allowed it to expand its capacities and strengthen its service network in the EMEA region. For F/List, the site holds strategic importance, as it generates additional capacity for processing orders faster and more efficiently: customers can therefore be offered the best-possible service.

Going forward, ACC Columbia will focus on its core business ‒ aircraft maintenance ‒ with F/List becoming an independent partner for cabin refurbishments, for example: revitalising interior surfaces, repairing cabin components, upholstering seating in leather or other materials, and revamping interior cabin linings.

“We are very happy and proud that we have found a company, i.e. F/List that has agreed to take over our employees and thus our ACC Columbia – Interior facility in Erfurt. We felt very comfortable in the negotiations with F/List at all times and look forward to expanding our cooperation,” explained Nils Janssen, managing director of ACC Columbia.

“Our employees have worked successfully together for many years, and know each other and their respective complementary skills very well. This foundation of trust promises a successful integration of the company into the F/List family,” said Katharina List-Nagl, CEO of F/List.
