Finalists announced for TCT Awards 2018

Finalists have now been announced for the TCT Awards 2018.

TCT Show organiser, Rapid News Publications has announced the finalists for the TCT Awards 2018.

Each finalist entry will be sent to the TCT Expert Advisory Board where the judging process will commence. The judges will collectively use their expertise from varied industries to pick a winner from each category.

This year’s TCT Awards are to be held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on the evening of Wednesday 26th September. On the night, the winners will be announced by Robert Llewellyn, best known as ‘Kryten’ from the hit sci-fi sitcom, Red Dwarf.

"Design-to-manufacturing innovation is happening now," stated Daniel O'Connor, head of content at the TCT Group. "With submissions from the likes of BMW, Airbus, IKEA and a host of SMEs, this year's TCT Awards shortlist shows that this industry is way past potential and heading towards ubiquity."

After long consideration of an abundance of high standard applications, TCT Group has announced the aerospace-related TCT Award finalists 2018.

  • Carbon Fibre Wing Repair Kit - FDM Digital Solutions, Airbus

  • Liquid Rocket Engine Injector - 3D Systems, DLR (German Aerospace Centre)

  • Overhead Spacer Panels - Materialise, Airbus

  • Project MELT - BEEVERYCREATIVE, European Space Agency

The winner will be announced on the night of the awards.
