Four events, one vision

Four of the UK's most important advanced technology sectors are set to converge under one roof at the NEC, Birmingham from 9-10 November 2011.

Each will provide a technology showcasing and business networking environment for the UK's most important high growth advanced engineering sectors: aerospace, composites, energy and plastic electronics.

Hosted collectively as ‘UK Advanced Engineering 2011', the four shows provide a synergetic showcasing of current and future technology, innovation and supply chain partners, supported by key business briefing and B2B networking opportunities.

Building on the success of the combined Aero Engineering and Composites Engineering shows, held at the NEC last September, the expansion to four co-locating events under the UK Advanced Engineering 2011 canopy looks set to become a crucial event in the engineering calendar.

Aero Engineering's Supply Chain Fair and Congress is now established as a meeting place for the UK aerospace engineering supply chain to meet and do business - from OEMs and integrators right through to all tiers of the supply chain. By supporting supply chain business briefings, open technology forums and integrated B2B meetings, the event is a ‘must attend' with the ‘Aero Test Focus' being added for 2011.

Meanwhile, the Composites Engineering Show expands further in 2011 to consolidate its place as the UK's only annual exhibition of suppliers and partners to the UK's rapidly growing composites design and manufacturing industries.

Showcasing all levels of the composites value chain contributing to high volume consumer products through to high performance advanced engineered products, the show is of interest to design, materials and manufacturing engineers from aerospace to automotive, motorsport, marine, civil engineering, defence, medical, energy, consumer and industrial products.
