Maxon gains JOSCAR accreditation

Maxon UK & Ireland has achieved accreditation to the Joint Supply Chain Register (JOSCAR).

Maxon UK & Ireland has achieved accreditation to the Joint Supply Chain Register (JOSCAR).

JOSCAR, established by the ADS Group, enables companies in the aerospace, defence and security sectors to identify qualified suppliers. The register is by invitation only.

Being accredited means maxon has been measured and validated across a wide range of business parameters, including quality, financial stability, IT security, the strength of supply chain, health and safety, fraud and anti-bribery, environment and sustainability and data privacy and protection

The information on accredited suppliers allows buying organisations to search for suitable suppliers for particular products. All the information required for qualifying a new supplier has already been collated, reducing the time and costs to bring a new supplier online.

maxon is also EN 9100 certified. This quality standard is for companies that develop and produce components for the aerospace industry. The certification underscores the many years of maxon's activity in this area. maxon drives are used in aerospace robots, satellites, drones, probes and passenger planes. DC motors from maxon are in virtually all the successful robot missions on Mars.
