Microtecnica opens office in Bristol

Microtecnica has opened its first UK office in Coombe Lodge, Blagdon near Bristol. The new office will research, develop and patent new and innovative technologies in electromechanical actuation.

Microtecnica has opened its first UK office in Coombe Lodge, Blagdon near Bristol. The new office has been set up to research, develop and patent new and innovative technologies in the field of electromechanical actuation.

“Bristol is home to some of the world's leading aerospace businesses and has very much established itself as a centre of expertise,” said engineering director, Chris Harris. “These were major influencing factors in our decision to set up our first UK base here. We have big ambitions for growing the actuation research and development arm of our business and believe Bristol is the perfect location to expand our international reach.”

With its head office in Turin, Italy, Microtecnica supplies and manufactures both actuation and thermal control systems for some of the world's major aerospace companies.
