Nadcap recognition for Frost Electroplating

Frost Electroplating has underlined its commitment to aerospace and defence customers by achieving Nadcap accreditation for chemical processing.

The Nadcap accreditation recognises the company's commitment to continual improvement in aerospace quality and complements its existing AS9100 accreditation. The company is also a member of the industry-led SC21 supply chain improvement programme.

William Southall, managing director of Frost Electroplating, said: “Achieving Nadcap accreditation is an important part of our strategy to further develop our anodising and Alocrom business for the UK defence and aerospace markets. “It follows substantial investment in a state-of-the art, fully computerized plant and work shop, which is already producing high quality product for a number of primes.”

According to the Performance Review Institute (PRI), the body overseeing Nadcap accreditation, Frost Electroplating was recognised for demonstrating an ongoing commitment to quality – satisfying both customer requirements and industry specifications.

PRI's Executive Director of Global Business Development Arshad Hafeez said: “Achieving Nadcap accreditation is not easy: it is one of the ways in which the aerospace industry identifies those who excel at manufacturing quality product through superior special processes. Companies such as Frost Electroplating work hard to obtain this status and they should be justifiably proud of it.

“PRI is proud to support continual improvement in the aerospace industry by helping companies such as Frost Electroplating be successful and we look forward to continuing to assist the industry moving forward.”
