NWAA appoint youth work leader

The North West Aerospace Alliance has appointed a psychology graduate to head up its activities aimed at attracting young people into the industry.

Alison Ainsworth has been appointed as the NWAA's image and engagement co-ordinator, responsible for the group's work with young people, with activities including organising events and attending trade shows.

Martin Wright, chief executive of the NWAA, said: “The work on securing the future of the aerospace industry is a priority for the NWAA. The fact is that there are not enough young people entering the sector, and Alison's work will be a critical part of our activity in the years to come.”
