OGMA – Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal – has just reached a milestone as a Rolls-Royce Authorized Service Center by delivering the 100th AE 1007C engine under maintenance at Alverca facilities.
The MRO company is consolidating its commitment in this maintenance segment and has invested in a new testbed dedicated to this Rolls-Royce engine model.
OGMA is a Rolls-Royce maintenance partner for AE 2100 A/D2/D3, AE 3007 and T56 engines and, since 2018, for AE 1107C engines, that powers the Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey multifunction military aircraft. Over this period OGMA has completed the maintenance of 100 units of this engine model, a milestone that was celebrated in a session attended by Rolls-Royce representatives in Alverca.
With over 30 years of experience with Rolls-Royce engines, OGMA consolidated its credentials in engine maintenance by investing in the development of a new testbed dedicated to AE 1107C engines, designed in accordance with the industry’s best practices, in a project that lasted four years and was completed in March 2022.
Alexandre Solis, CEO of OGMA, said: “reaching this historic milestone of 100 E 1107C engines delivered to Rolls-Royce is a reason for great satisfaction for OGMA. It is a sign of the confidence that Rolls-Royce has put in us and, at the same time, a demonstration of the ability and experience that our teams have to meet the needs of our customers. We want to continue this partnership with more similar milestones like this in the future, always focused to deliver quality and innovation”.
