Recaro SL3710 takes flight for first time
Recaro Aircraft Seating’s SL3710 will take flight for the first time on HK Express’ A321neo. The maiden flight will take place this month.
This is the first-ever order of Recaro seats by HK Express, and with the upcoming retrofit, the total seat order exceeded 4,000. The lightest seat in the Recaro portfolio, the SL3710 was customised for HK Express with a custom-made artificial leather dress cover and advertising frame on the backrest.
“The SL3710 is a great fit for HK Express because of its lightweight structure and ergonomic design,” said Mark Hiller, CEO of Recaro Aircraft Seating and Recaro Holding. “Our strong relationship with the Cathay Pacific Group paved the way for this opportunity, and I am looking forward to this strong new partnership with HK Express.”
A member of the Cathay Pacific Group, HK Express is a Hong Kong-based low-cost carrier that serves the Asia-Pacific region with a fleet of 27 Airbus aircraft.
