As the most comprehensive supply chain improvement programme within any UK industrial sector, Rediweld had no hesitation in signing up to SC21 three years ago.
“We have improved our performance by adopting ‘manufacturing excellence' as a framework for lean operations and ‘determining excellence' as a business improvement model,” said managing director, Roger Marsh. “We've also worked on ‘relationship management' with key customers and these activities are now all part of our continuous sustainable improvement plan (CSIP).”
Throughout this programme Rediweld says it has received invaluable training and guidance from Sigma Management Development, an A|D|S strategic partner. The journey doesn't end, as it now set its sights on the next step which is working towards Silver Award status.
