STG Aerospace heralds new sales appointment

Global emergency exit marking and cabin lighting systems manufacturer, STG Aerospace has announced the appointment of Michael Savidge, as regional sales director.

This is a highly visible position requiring experience in the development and delivery of commercial aircraft cabin interior products to Boeing and other key North American OEMs.

Savidge is an accomplished programme manager who has worked in aerospace roles since 2006. Most recently, he served as Boeing key account manager for Recaro Aircraft Seating. Savidge also served as senior programme manager with the Boeing Seat Integration Team leading several complex projects, most notably the Emirates High Wall Suites. He is based in Marysville, Washington.  His experience strengthens the existing STG team and dovetails with the increased opportunities for the company as the world continues recovery from the pandemic.

“STG is a great company to work for with a fantastic customer-focused culture and team capable of producing world first lighting innovations for aerospace,” stated Savidge. “My goals for the role are to grow relationships with our customers and continue the great work to find new solutions for our customers challenges. It’s an exciting time for STG and I am looking forward to achieving great things.”

Grant Bennett, CEO at STG Aerospace, added: “We’re delighted to have Michael on board. He brings a wealth of knowledge and drive to the role, and he will play a key part in helping us achieve our ambitious goals at what is an exciting time within our sector.”
