The team at Spraybooth Technology Limited (STL) installed three new spraybooths at Bowmill Engineering and Metal Treatments.
The new installation in Poole, Dorset will enable the aerospace treatment company to align its capacity with the increase in demand from primes such as Airbus and GE.
Bowmill Group, which employs 165 staff, brought in STL to carry out the facility and were impressed that enough to ask the Suffolk-based company to install a paintstore at their plant.
Jeremy Ormes, aerospace and industrial sales manager at STL, said: “We worked closely with Bowmill to create a bespoke solution to ensure it met all their requirements. The booth was designed to meet Nadcap requirements, essentially with reference to temperature and the bake cycle, as well as satisfy the requirements of Bowmill. We are delighted that our expertise on three new spraybooths in this very specialised industry has helped Bowmill meet their new production rate.”
Stuart Vivian, treatments director at Bowmill, said: “We needed the three new spraybooths as we prepare to ramp up our work significantly to cope with demand in the coming years. We knew STL had experience in working with large companies, something that gave us confidence, and we were immediately impressed by their professional approach. They showed exceptional quality from the start and we couldn’t be happier with the finished result.”
