Zetec to unveil latest NDT technology at Materials Testing 2017

Zetec Inc. will demonstrate its latest non-destructive testing (NDT) solutions at Materials Testing 2017, the most comprehensive exhibition for materials testing and technology, in Telford from Sept. 5-7 (booth #C7). The exhibition runs alongside the 56th Annual British Conference of Non-Destructive Testing.

Zetec will showcase several leading ultrasonic and eddy current solutions. These include: TOPAZ family of advanced phased array ultrasonic technology (UT) instruments; The award-winning NDT PaintBrush scanner for detecting wall-thickness reductions due to corrosion, abrasion, or erosion; MIZ-200 high-performance eddy current (EC) instrument, available in tubing and surface array configurations; Surface Array Flex Probe; UltraVision software for EC and UT devices.

In addition, Zetec will participate in the practical demo sessions, presenting the proven Time Reversal Technique for inspections of composite structures using the TOPAZ32 UT instrument and UltraVision Software. The 45-minute seminars will take place at 9:50 a.m. on Sept. 6 and 10:15 a.m. on Sept. 7.

Materials Testing 2017 is produced by the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) and will take place at The International Centre in Telford. The biennial event is recognised as the international showcase for the NDT, condition monitoring, diagnostic engineering, and quality testing industries.
