Zoro breaks new ground with automatic replenishment service

Tools and MRO supplier, Zoro UK announces the launch of an innovative automatic stock and supplies replenishing feature called ‘Order Subscription’.

Zoro is a one-stop shop for more than 250,000 industrial consumables, tools and business supplies with free next day delivery throughout the UK on many of its lines.

The addition of the new Order Subscription service will be a boon for customers as it will cut down time spent reordering, reduce human error and ensure smooth production.

Chris Matenaers, Zoro’s marketing director, said: “Adding Order Subscriptions to our website will vastly improve production lines and help keep businesses running.”

When ordering products through Zoro’s Order Subscription service, customers choose a monthly, weekly or bi-weekly option. Customers can also choose a start and end date for the subscription, and can make the dates the same, effectively functioning as a single scheduled order.

Matenaers continued: “Many businesses reorder the same supplies on a regular basis. Order Subscription ensures much-needed items will be delivered when the business needs them without having to remember to place the order. This means no delays in production due to downtime.

“We pride ourselves on bringing new innovative functionalities to the B2B market and our new Order Subscription service will enhance our customer’s experience and makes conducting business with Zoro seamless.”

Order Subscription, which has been exclusively released to Zoro Business Account customers, will be rolled out to all customers toward the end of the year.

Matenaers concluded: “We understand simplicity of ordering can be vital for businesses. Zoro’s Order Subscription is a simple, efficient way of making sure products are in stock. From a time-management view, it really is a no-brainer.”
